First and foremost, relax. Any problem you may have on the trip is probably a simple fix. There's no need to get worked up over something small. You are not alone and you always have help. Now that that's out of the way we can discuss packing. Pack as lightly as you can. One outfit per day. You will not need extra clothes. I'm a notorious overpacker and was a real pain on this trip. I also suggest a backpack for your carry-on luggage, wheeling a bag through the train station is not a simple task. As far as on the trip, make sure you're prepared to walk. If you don't want to walk this isn't the cce for you. Bring comfortable shoes, insoles, and band aids for blisters. Be sure to bring enough cash as well, running out is not fun because some places don't except credit or debit. If you bring too much, you can always exchange it back to USD when you get back home. On the topic of money, bring a separate bag for change. A lot of change you get back from cashiers is in coins, this can be inconvienvent to stuff into a wallet. Separate plastic bags for each amount would be helpful. Another helpful tip is to observe everything. Watch what people around you are doing so you don't make a mistake, it's also very interesting to see how the locals behave. Finally, have fun. This is an amazing opportunity and it's important to always live in the moment.
